Buying a house
I can help you find a home anywhere in the greater Columbia area. I specialize in homes in and around downtown, including Columbia, Forest Acres, and Cayce. This means understanding the history of the neighborhoods like Old Shandon and the schools your children will be going to.
What can I do for you?
If you know what you are interested in, I set up an e-mail alert to send you homes that meet your criteria as soon as they come onto the market.
If you do not know exactly what you want, I work with you to help figure out what you want, can afford and where.
Selling a house
It takes a lot to sell a home, especially in this market. Pricing the home appropriately for your neighborhood and the market is just the beginning. I can help advise you on how to make your home more inviting to potential buyer. I also advertise your home in various periodicals around the area and do periodic open houses to provide agents and buyers opportunities to view your home.
What do you have to do?
Mostly it is keeping your home in a clean and viewable state. I deal with most of the rest.
How much do you charge?
I do not get paid until you buy or sell your home. There are no upfront charges.
The amount any real estate agent gets is based upon long set industry standards of 3% for the buyer’s agent and 3% for the seller’s agent. It rarely deviates from this. Again, neither agent gets any money until the home is sold.
